Re: Is it just me that doesn't find it interesting at all

Somehow, Flitcroft seems to have painted himself into a corner over this one - we know it; he knows it; and the interviewer knows it. I can understand his reaction to the question given these circumstances.

It might have been mentioned, but this interview is the same as the one out on Barnsley player, only the question about Mellis and Hassell is removed...

Steele as captain makes us weaker for starters. There's a good reason why most sides in football either have a centre half or central midfielder as captain, cos on most occasions, keepers as captains don't fookin work, especially when ur under the cosh. Steeles hardly vocal and commanding at the best of times. Dawson was doing his job for him whilst not injured without wearing the armband, for me, he should get it when he plays again and keep it....oh and posh are beating Leeds at bell end road! :-/

End of the day, he's the manager, if he doesn't want to pick Bobby then so be it. He's the manager, it's his choice. From what I can see we're 2 points clear of the drop with a game in hand. He's turned us round from being **** to having a fighting chance of staying up. I've not a clue why he hasn't picked bobby just like I haven't a clue why fergie has overlooked Rooney for some of the important games this season. In my opinion Flitcroft has earned the right to pick who he wants for whatever reason he wants. I may not understand it but am willing to put my faith in his decision making based on how many points he's managed to get us since taking over. People might not agree, but the saying 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' springs to mind. We're picking up points and out of the bottom 3. I'd rather a manager stick to his guns if things are working rather than play a player just to please the fans.
