It makes sod all difference Penalties always seem to be missed on this year's game, I think it's a bug, and I don't have a patch. However, fortunately I have found two players who never seem to miss - Sibierski for my Barnsley team, and Dean Ashton for my Newcastle team.
They say that its because of the AI.... because it calculates everything from the goal keeper stats to how knackered they are when taking the pen. Its not a bug as such but I think the calculations round players fitness is **** anyway on the game.
Pretty much every game you have to change the entire team cos they haven't recovered froma game 4-5 days before.
Thats the only part of the game that pisses me off.

RE: They say that its because of the AI.... Yes I agree! I don't like playing players who are below 95%, and certainly not 90%. Fortunately, I have a huge squad at BFC Defenders are normally okay, they finish the game on about 90% whereas wingers are on about 65-70! Strange I must admit.
It spoils the game for me.......... I try resting the squad after all the games for a couple of days. It does have an effect but not a big one.
Wingers are a pain.....you pretty much have to change them after 70 minutes which means if you get a couple of injuries your fecked

That background... Any chance of putting the picture on here so I can have it? Is it easy to make it my background on the game, if so how? Cheers!
Any idea which one? I'd be happy just with that one if there's any chance you can put a link up to just the photo on it's own
RE: It spoils the game for me.......... If you have patch 6.0.2, I have found this to be toned down to a more accurate level. Patch 6.0.2 has improved the game greatly IMO.
RE: It makes sod all difference 2005 had a bug on penalties as well - think that was number awarded in games, before the patch used to get at least a penalty evevygame against me
