hmm but by the same token

People shouldnt be wearing football shirts in cars either, they aren't playing football in the drivers seat.

Or trainers, they aren't doing sports so they should be changed for 'normal' shoes.

No...........it's just a whole thing about not wearing hats indoors.

but you could argue that a hat isn't really indoors. would you take your coat off to drive?

and by the way I dont wear baseball caps (or even baseball style caps)

i followed a knobhead today with them on - thing is he was going that slow i though he was braking contantly but he wasnt.

Thing is people forget they are on. Cars ought to cancel them when switched off so you have to switch them on rather than off.

My latest car does that - the fog light switch is on with the main lights (pull out o put fog lights on), so when you switch lights to off you have to push the switch in.....as you say other cars should be designed in that way.

At least he was going slow I guess.....when I was on motorway and it was a bit foggy it was strange how many people thought they needed fog lights on but that it was also safe to drive at 80mph!

I've noticed a couple of cars in the last week that have had a fault with their brake lights, such that the brake lights are constantly on.....try driving behind one of them!
