I think most people can swing it when it's a one off for a special occasion. You call in favours from mates or get special dispensation from work. It's difficult to pull it off every week though. Said the actress to the bishop.
easy 1) season ticket 2) if not season ticket 125 membership and take advantage of the discount 3) if you are a " match chooser " for whatever reason - get the price for the game with any discounts available and get the ticket from the ticket office 4) if you decide to do a game - pay the price of the gate 5) if you are a stayaway - keepboardtapper-find every excuse under the sun not to go to games - glory match attender - have a think about coming down to the `well and supporting the team and the club you actually might enjoy it
By definition, these are people we'll never get in. If people are using the membership cards as a excuse not to go, chances are they'll just find another excuse once that is out of the way.
spot on tomfun I have a mate ( true red hmmmm ) that is an antiblokegoingshoppingwithwife warrior. he`s regularly spotted in town " carrying the bags " saturday afternoon - always wants a match report though
I have a season ticket and so do you but there are fans out there who make a last minute decision whether to go to the game or not. Fans just want to turn up and pay the minimum which should never be more than £20 for 2nd tier football. Why piss about with a membership scheme? if you want to go to the pictures, you just go, you don't nip down three days before to buy a ticket - you can even pay just before you set off, stick your credit card in the machine and print them off there and then. Whether you understand it or not, it's overcomplicated at Oakwell.
Aye they are all the same aint one of them ever going to change their minds or circumstances change for em to be able to go. Aye **** em yer reight I dunt want em set next to me moaning cnuts, I`ll just me happy when me and me mate are watching and I can sit where I want cos am a diehard me nowt gets in mi way of watching em home, away, training, number plate recognition watch and all round good egg thats me. Thanks for changing mi opinion fella.
Perhaps, but what are the practical issues to allowing the card to be presented at a turnstile? Would it cost the club anything to do this?
Do they scan or swipe the card at box office, just considering how easy it would be possible forge a card, at a turnstiles this then would be a problem.
