    1 Fishcake - home made - when r wor a lad they were the only sort tha cud get in a chip oil. Became known as a Pattie locally.

    2 Fish cake (shop bought)

    Locally scallops are slices of potato fried in batter (or shellfish such as Queenies)

    Confused by the risole comment as to me this is meat in pastry and not fish (English dictionary)
