    The numbers bandied about in football these days make my brain hurt. As a nation, there never seems to be enough money to fund anything properly, whether it's the NHS, education, police, whatever. Yet clearly there's plenty of dosh out there - it's just all in the wrong place.

    Anyway... just off to transfer a few more quid into my dog's overseas expense account. Catch you later.
