He deserves a forty game season. Said Flicker.

    Doing myself any favours? Eh?

I've not tried to suggest his Leicester performance was anything at all. I merely backed up Kev in saying that that was his last start. I did though point out he was taken off after Kennedy's error had cost us a goal.

So Reuben had a bad game at Leicester. It happens. I can't think of many bad games of his. Leicester last season he scored a bicycle kick.

How many bad games does it take for the likes of Wiseman, Kennedy, COG, Perkins to have before they're dropped? The answer? Ask Flicker.

Btw, I'm not suggesting those players shouldn't be selected. I'm just saying, it seems some are allowed a string of poor displays and yet retain their places, whilst certain others are dropped after just one. Reuben, Steele, Mellis and Jennings spring to mind. Cywka even gets dropped after a 'good' game.

If that's not favouritism, then it's idiocy.

Think I might have misinterpretted your post a bit, I thought you were trying to say that RNL was better than Kennedy that day. He really wasn't, even if it was Kennedy's fault for the goal RNL was **** and we could've conceded from his mistakes as easily.

I completely agree that he should be playing now either on the left wing or at left back, I'd prefer him in either of those positions to Kennedy or Mellis.

Also, less of the essay next time please ;)

I know, going to be one of his biggest downfalls this. Think the fans would be a bit more forgiving if he and Digby were playing more.

Tempted to write an essay.... ;)

But seriously, I would have liked to have seen him at left wingback, in a 3-5-2, regularly.

But the manager prefers 4-4-2 and has sent the lad out on loan. As is his prerogative I suppose. I find that daft, but what do I know?

I'm lost for ideas at the minute mate. I'm sticking by him as I want him to turn it around, it's up to him if he does it or not.

The favouritism issue is perplexing to me. Why would Flicker stand by, week in week out, players who are under-performing and letting him down ie. Kennedy, Mellis, Perkins and I would say Fox could go on that list.

Then you have Digby, Clark, RNL......all home grown talent who have made it into the first team and then dropped without any valid explanation.

If we were bagging the results, then Flicker has got a strong argument......but we aren't, so questions are being asked.
