    Wasn’t planning on walking it. There are regular trams up to Old Trafford.
    The square is where alot of European fans go ahead of matches at Old Trafford or The Etihad. Just use a bank card to tap in/ out to pay the tram fare.
    Edit - Green line towards Altrincham Exchange Square to OT takes about 15 mins with a further 10 minute walk.
