Two things we need to fix up.

    1. Stop conceding sloppy goals.
    2. Learn how to break a side down.

Once we've cracked those two we'll go on a decent run. Who's to say that the forgotten man Williams or a fully fit Hammill can't be the catalyst?

Defensively give Roberts another go. Take Mawson out of the spotlight as well as Smith at left back and bring in a brute in January. Cryne is obviously backing Johnson whether the vast majority on here want him to or not. It's just whether Johnson can fix these issues, and at the moment they jury is out on that one.

It'd certainly help the cause if the likes of Conor Hourihane, Sam Winnall & Adam Hammill rediscover their goalscoring form for us. A return to action & form by Ryan Williams wouldn't go amiss, either. At the other end of the pitch, cutting out persistent individual errors by our defenders would definitely help.
    Just for starters.

To be fair he's never mentioned we'd be in the 4th division before...

I mentioned a few weeks ago at the start of this run based on the form showed then wed get 48 points.

As it stands at the moment about a third through the season we have 14 points.

So that based on current form etc is around 42 points.

As I cant see where next wins coming from. . . Its not good reading.

This for me is the major difference between winning games, touching the play offs last season and this season. Our defence is prone to conceede goals at the drop of a hat. Confidence plays a major part in this but also experience, roberts and mawson, smith etc are young kids, nyatanga seems to lose concentration.

maybe we need a better midfield to offer protection, maybe we might toss if off and try and score 4 if they score 3, who knows...

if we actually kept a few clean sheets however and gave ourselves a chance things wouldn't look so bad.

The individual errors in defence are something we can control & change ourselves. Whilst ever we continue with them, we need to score simply to avoid defeat and we're obviously failing on that aspect, too. However, keeping clean sheets will stop the rot. Having our better players returning to form and scoring will then help us in the climb up the table.

Owt can happen CT, we could go on a bit of a run or we may have already seen the icing on the cake and start gerrin hammered fours and fives. I think we need to keep ourselves in the picture up to the end of December and not get cast too far adrift or January window will be pointless for this season.

One things for sure the team/players we are seeing now aint gunna be the team/players we see come the end of the season as the flow of players continues through Oakwell.

So all I can offer thi is hope and blind faith that summat drops into place and things start to click.
