    I don't like Moncur. It's not often I dislike a Barnsley player but I don't like him. However, today, I wouldn't go so far as to say he's playing well, no Barnsley player is, but at least he actually looks like a professional footballer. He can control the ball, pass it, dribble a bit. He's not particularly effective, he's not creating chances or anything, but he can obviously play the game of football. There are many in our team who don't look like they can.

    Hes had the ball. Controlled it. Dribbled.

    Dont think i recall a tackle or his movement causing any threat.

    He looks nice today. But completely ineffective

    Ive liked whay ive seen of McCarthy in general.

    Not always brilliant. Prone to a right gaff. But he looks awful today i have to admit

    Much better second half that. Had we any decent strikers we may have snatched a point. Moncur played much better second 45 for me.

    Couldn't go myself but the stats were 10 shots to 9 at h/t in Villas favour.....21 shots to 13 in our favour by the end.
