    Brittain is a half decent full back but I don't think he offers anything going forward. I'm in the minority of one but I think Jordan Williams is better going forward.

    I think he could do a job on the right of a 3 in central midfield, but expect Styles, Benson or Woodrow to be ahead of him in an attacking midfield slot.

    He puts in loads of great crosses though. I think he's great. Williams is great too though so the position is definitely up for grabs!

    It’s weird how we all watch the same game but come up with such different opinions. I think Brittain is superb going forward (minus the finishing currently) and his vision is up there with the best I’ve seen at the club. I like J Williams but there’s no way I’d either move or drop Brittain for him.

    I'm no wiser. Let's put best 11 players on pitch and see what happens. I don't know who the best strikers are, but let's hope there's one who's the ideal foil for Woodrow. We can worry about the formation and balance of the team in a couple of weeks. Be good to win first five games.

    My lad has just moved up to u11s this season and at training yesterday every time the other team scored in the mini game at the end someone shouted "no goal, offside".
    Might be a long season.
