I got the feeling he rushed it, had the room to let it come down. But I have only seen it live, could be totally wrong. A striker should be burying them chances, that is what I felt at the time.

don't want to be too hard on him cos i think he puts a good shift in, but for what we paid i would expect a lot more than hes showing at the moment, even pre injury he was missing the "easier " opportunities, and harsh as it may seem we could have been 1,2 or 3 in front with a bit of luck and calmer finishing but thats not all down to humey.

    Harsh on Hume

i think people are being a bit harsh on hume, yeah he had a bad game and yeah he was not up for it. I think some of the games he has played in recently he has been very good. He just had a poor performance today.
Gray for me is not the player I thought he would be, very slow and not much movement stands very stationary, at least Huume will do plenty of running. Maybe give Boggy a chance time.

    RE: Harsh on Hume

Thing is he is in the team to score goals and he isnt doing it so he's open to criticism (as are the rest) although TBH a lot of the problems for this game were either to be expected or inherited by Robins.
For a start no matter how much a manager may say otherwise players usually act differently with a big game in the offing, even players who would normally get stuck in a bt least a bit seem to hold back, its going to be on TV gainst Man Ure would you risk injury before it? it might not be concious behaviour but its human nature and somewhat understandable.
The rest of the stuff a defence vulnerable against pace, a midfield that could still use a general or at least somebody to put a bit of fear in the opposition and an attack that still needs a consistent goal scorer were all inherited by Robins.
He's at least tried to do something about the problems but its outside the transfer window and even then funds will be somewhat limited so its going to take time.

If anything Hume has looked better this season than last to me

Looks more up for it and seems to have more to prove.

Still think we paid too much for him though. I'm not saying he's a bad player, far from it, but I just don't think he'll score enough goals to warrant the £1.2 million. Not that it's his fault we paid so much.

Have any of you morons ever kicked a football...

I think this will probably be my last post on this site. I have never trawled my way through such ***** in my life... the vast majority of you have probably never kicked a foot ball. Let alone played at a decent level..yet you are all experts...

All of a sudden very good players like Hume, Anderson and Colace are bad player if they have an off day... B*ll*cks !!!!!

some one once told me that you cant educate pork... I now know what they meant....I`ve spent enough time on this site to understand that,

Another good saying is that you can please some of the people all of the time (possibly true suppporters) and you can please all of the people some of the time ( the glory hunters). but you can NOT please all of the people all of the time....and some of the people will never be pleased. (and there is a few of them on this site)

There has been a few of you that have made sensible comments such as .............no I couldnt list you because I probably would miss one or two of you...from the list.

Anyway It has depressed me enough over the years reading the crap that is printed here and so enough is enough..

Good bye ............for ever............. Celebrity Monkey I will miss you....

That's where it all falls apart...

Boobie, no thanks. Need a decent centre half on loan. Agree re Foster. Hume needs a rest. Colace needs a bullet.

Getting to Jan and being in touch...

is key and hopefully he can bring a few faces in then.

Realistically, lets hope we can stay up and then he can have a preseason and bring some of his own players in. A season wasted by not acting in the summer.

Agreed. Hopefully MR will get the backing SD got and do

a much better job. He seems to be able to see things much clearer than SD ever did and knows what he wants and the way he wants the team to play.
