failed attempt at irony #4. transfer dealings are always a bit of a gamble, but much easier when there's a healthy dialogue between manager and chairman rather than manager and dentist. I suspect Davey wont be wanting to give the squad a chance in every case, dossier and all. I hope Derby go up.....

He must have put some serious hard work in for reid to say the things he has about him. He frustrates me as much as anyone. But to not even offer him a contract and let him just go for free seems like madness.

I included Togwell as he was with us at the start,

Ferenczi and Nyatanga have improved us , thats 2 players the rest of the signings have been no improvement on what we had and some have been worse.</p>

2 out of 11 is a Harry Redknapp type ratio.</p>

If we sign 11 players in the summer and only 2 of them are an improvement over what we already have then will you be happy?</p>

Maybe my memory is playing up on me - but Andy always seemed to use him as a substitute. Not sure why he would to sign him up again.
