    Add to that I think he only played in the game due to injuries to the more regular starters? I'm sure he wasn't even meant to be playing.

    To be honest, given the career he ended up having, I'm happy that 'Sliding Doors' moment happened for him. What a different life he would have ended up with if he'd signed for us. Crazy thinking about it.

    Ian Harkes is 27 so seems unlikely given how we operate - but he is I believe out of contract at Dundee United (any idea Ian?) and we have cried out for a midfield player with professional experience. He has that.

    He’s also American but was born in Derby (as well as Scottish grandparents) so no work permit issues.
