Nothing against the lad.

Positive: Can be absolute class when needed. Not sure who we're going to replace him with.
Negative: Lazy. Constantly offside.

dodgy hamstrings

every time - and it wasn't every game:) -that he actually tried to accelerate into a run I was always expecting him to pull up injured

if he keeps fit and isn't seduced by the crack dealers after his new found wealth !!:D he could get you a few goals-but the bestway to describe him is "frustratingly enigmatic"-some will love him -others hate him -he tends to polarise opinions

he's as good as anyone in this league when on form but he takes a lot of motivating to reach this level and puts in lots of lazy preformances

Deluded faith...

As a Barnsley fan I need a bit of that deluded faith that we can turn on the style every now and again. I don't need to see it week in week out, but do need to believe that there is potential to do so.

I like to see players put effort in but I don't want to see a team of Jacob Burns and Gary Jones'.
When he was in the team I always thought that if Nads can be arsed he will run rings around the opposition defenders.

Nads
Chops
McPhail
McIndoe
...even Shuker (quality for Tranmere this season - honest)

If we still had this lot and a couple of defenders we would be in the playoff picture. :'( :'(

****** to it 'the king is dead, long live the king' - Come on Mostto!! (nodding2fingers) (nodding2fingers)

It will all depend on how good your Manager and Coaches are. He has the talent but can they harness it effectively.
Most of the responses you have had on here refer to him as Lazy, can't be bothered etc. etc. and place all the blame on him. They tend to forget that the Manager's and Coaches have a responsibility to get the best from him. If they can't do that, then they are as much to blame as he is.

Best player ever to have pulled on a Man Utd shirt!!!

At his time at Barnsley he's lived off his reputation as ex Man Utd and the fact he's had 3 or 4 half dozen game spells where he's been good.

Half the fans here love him because:
1) He once played for Man Utd
2) He single handedly got us promoted and single handedly kept us up
3) He's got a good name for making into songs (this one is true!)
4) He might have been **** for last seventeen games but at the end of last season he was great.

If you aren't completely blind you'll think he's lazy, greedy and doesn't read the game too well.

Undoubtedly he's got talent but the frequency of which he uses it is so rare I'm glad he's gone.

Watch the ******* score 20+ this season!!!
