I think it's harsh to put Frieser in the same bucket as Schmidt, Victor etc..., once Odour came on, he was the one player in the front three that looked like he could get hold of the ball and look for a pass. The frequency and pace of games in this league might be a bit much for him though.

Simoes was missed from the thread title, and he was lucky to last 40 minutes last night, he was incredibly sloppy with the ball. People say the ball keeps coming back because we don't have a target man that can hold it up, but a lot of the time, he had the ball and just gave it away easily. That isn't because of a lack of height, it's a lack of application. Schmidt was just as bad, on one occasion he had the ball on the right with nobody within yards of him, and he missed a simple 5 yard pass back to a wide player. His back flick summed his performance up, taking short cuts. At the start of the week, I thought that he had earned the right to a few games as Woodrow's backup, but I cannot see any justification for his selection for Saturday.

I didn't see the game on Saturday, so can't comment on Miller, but given the quality of our strikers overall, and the fact that we have Kane sat on the bench, we may as well add a centre mid for a forward and go 3-5-2

    Hello again Pompey

Thank you for all that gold plated advice. I can now get on with my day knowing that according to you I am a caricature and nobody takes me seriously.

Can you help me understand what I need to do to be better thought of by you and EVERYBODY on the BBS forum.

How do I get to be so admired and well thought of on here like you obviously think you are.

    morning George

yes drop all of them and put on the pitch instead Kane and Halme for a start. How about the free signing from Liverpool get him in the squad. The Half time draw man with a bovril in his hand would do more on the pitch than what Schmidt contributes. He is stealing a wage.

We also have a player in the reserves called Dan brammall superb player he deserves a place in the squad also.

Thanks to the 'emergence of Adeboyejo'.

Cheers Mr Conway - you're a top bloke, always straight with the fans.
