    IF we've recruited right with even one of the Belgian lads then Frieser isn't going to get much game time. If he plays a full season I'd be amazed if he scored ten goals. I'm sorry but players don't suddenly become goalscorers overnight.
    I have a lot of time for Frieser but he's not a player who's going to have us in the top ten.
    If we get a good offer for him and he wants to go I'd cash in. If not by all means keep him.

    I’d go along with that tbh and I like Frieser but as you say he’s never gonna be prolific .
    If we get a decent offer for him with the cover we have I’d let him go and it also hopefully Friesres up (pun) funds if we need a push for any position in January .

    I'd say we were top 5 once we had a front three of Woodrow, Dike and Morris which is where all the goals came from.
    Again, I'm not having a go, I like Frieser but he's not going to score the goals we need. He's a good back up option but if we had a significant bid I'd consider it.

    Freiser was an exceptionally important part of that dynamic by doing a lot of the leg work to tire defenses and allow those three to get their respective goals.

    Whether I agree with that or not it was during a season where five subs were allowed. That's no longer the case.

    Some comments seem odd and illogical here. He contributed to a successful team last season in terms of placed finish. I dont think the dynamics and combinations to build a team mean all strikers, defenders etc have to be the same style. He brings something different and gives options. Closing down, long throws, fills in the games and brings energy between midfield and attack and some protection from the front to a flank. I would be surprised if any of our other strikers bring this. They may of course bring something different again and score more but we have to think about the team and not 11 exact replica players

    Players don’t become goal scorers over night…

    Woodrow was a laughing stock at Bristol and Fulham, yet he’s scored over 50 goals for us.
    Gareth Bale was close to joining Birmingham in the championship but the deal passed the deadline of the window, Gareth the following season hit 27 goals for Spurs.

    Momentum is everything in this game.

    I hear what your saying, but not sure he cost much either,if he has a good season which has already started well how much will he be worth at xmas,nxt yr.its a no frm me.

    Well you have to give me bookie odds, then some cos ought i bet on that will earn me money usually loses.if he dont go today,I'll av a tenner at 4 t 1 that he's top scorer up to wba game,pay out then,like ya say wen Belgium lads are fit.bet ad get better odds at bookies woodrows been top scorer last 3yrs.
