One of The highest paid players at the club.

Offered very little on the pitch in the games I've seen him.

I couldn't care less if he is a character in the dressing room, he isn't paid to dance around in his skiddy y fronts but to perform on the pitch.

Wilson's seen through him. Mansfords seen through him.

Quicker he is gone the better.

I'm not sure what to think of him, I've seen him play 5 times for us.

Of them 5 he played well once which to be fair is a pretty similar ratio to about half of our squad this season so I won't slate him too much for that but there's one thing been average / poor like he was in 2 of the other games & then there's putting in a truly disgraceful performance like he did in the away games at Huddersfield & Wednesday which weren't acceptable.

I too think there's talent there but he needs to get his head down & find some dedication instead of spending his free time with another player who's pissing his talent up the wall (Mellis).

I think he will be. I agree with Hemsworth, I think Wolves will sign him. He had a good loan period with them apparently. Where I disagree with Hemsworth, is after a couple of games of getting booked and doing next to nowt else, he'll dropped from the team. He'll be at a Championship club, but he'll not play much. He'll probably get another Championship club the year after, one just hoping to stay in the league, when Wolves release him. Then a League 1 club. Then league 2. Then he'll either give up altogether or play non league. But by that time he'll have earned millions from football so he'll not care. What a life.

He won't be at Barnsley FC next season no matter what division we are in. If the reports are true that he's the highest paid wage earner at the club then it's a no-brainer to get shut, even if we are in the Championship. If we go down then he'll not be playing in Div 1

When we signed him I thought it was a genuinely interesting signing. Having lived in and around North London I Was in touch with some old Arsenal supporting friends there view was an almost unanimous thumbs down. Basically they did not question his natural ability but said he had little discipline and no real idea of playing in a team. They also said that he had failed to develop from the time he had joined them. I felt having seen him play live a couple of times that this was a little harsh as he had not looked out of place in Arsenal's team on either occasion though had looked like a sending off waiting tog happen and I looked forward to him having a real positive influence on our fight against relegation.

Unfortunately the Millwall game aside where he was excellent against poor opposition he has been uniformly bad. His display against Huddersfield was absolutely appalling the worst I've seen in far too many tears of supporting the reds. The frustrating thing about it is that clearly he is a talented guy. Unfortunately he seems to be taking the Nardeillo route to football with a lack of effort negating any natural ability it saddens me. He will probably end up retiring rich but early never fulfilling his natural gifts.

In terms of his private life I couldn't care less so it hasn't affected my views on him. In fact I love a character from Ally Millar to Gerry Taggart onwards it makes me warm to him. Unfortunately his on field efforts have been the issue. Nowt wrong with confidence but you need to have the displays to back this up.

In all a disastrous signing but worth taking the gamble on.

My personal thoughts on Frimpong are that he's going to be potentially one of the biggest wastes of talents we've seen walk through the doors at Oakwell. If he put half as much time and energy into his football, as he does into messing around off the field and on Twitter, then he would be playing - no doubt about that. He's a raw, 22 year old Ghana international, and product of probably one of the finest youth setups in the country, yet he can't get into a relegation struggling Barnsley team? Something isn't right there.

When he first signed, my initial reaction was 'Wow!', but then I sat down and thought about it a little. Why? Why us? From Arsenal, to us? It didn't make a whole lot of sense. This was a lad who was earning £20,000 per week (and was contracted until 2015 - meaning another 18 months sat on the bench or in the reserves at Arsenal would've netted him around £1,400,000), whilst also making a good income from selling 'Dench' products and he decides to join a strong candidate for the drop to League One? That speaks volumes, and says to me that the lad wanted to move to play regular football. He obviously hasn't come here for the money, or any other reason I can think of.

I personally think he did come here to play football for six months. I think he intended to use us as a springboard to better things, and it hasn't worked out at all. He could've come here, played out of his skin, and gone a fair way to keeping us up, and he would've shined, just like Hammill, Butterfield, Vaz Te, Stones et al. Now, we're left with someone who I believe really couldn't care less about us and may even have lost some of his love for the game. He could be a real asset for us next season, but we won't keep him. I think his reputation COULD see him move to someone like West Ham, Crystal Palace etc, someone out of that category, because I really do think he has the talent and ability to play at that level - whether he has the desire and work ethic going forward is an entirely different thing.

    Time will tell.

    That's consistent with what I've seen. He's a clown.
