Taken the words out of my mouth. Grove has already proved to be able to come back from the jaws of defeat against Kenny Anderson, but the reality is he wasn't given the chance to do so last night. Nobody knows what would have happened. Had Froch had Groves in the trouble he was in at the end of round one, the ref would have stepped in and stopped it. No different to football fans claiming the big teams get all the big decisions in football.
Completely disagree. Been a long time since I've seen a super middleweight take that much punishment in the first six rounds. If that fight was in Vegas it would have been up there with Corrales, Gatti, etc. He took around 40+ punches absolutely flush.
Only Howard Foster knows what made him decide to stop the fight and just like in football we'll probably never get to hear the ref's side of the story.
After a fight like that, you want a rematch, the sad thing is i don't think it will happen, i think Froch will go elsewhere for his last few matches then call it a day
