I wish football and life were as simple and black and white as some make out on here. If it were, Eric would be my second choice for manager, behind Young Nudger. And Super Tyke would be my choice for PM.

 

I'm in no doubt that Davey knows what feedback he's getting from fans, because there is no other reason in the world that he'd stick with some of the players, the formations, the tactics, and poor decision making he continues to apply, other then stubborness.

The 'I'm right and everyone else is wrong' approach.

Not a stupid rumour considerin , with Barry Taylor being on the board,a big fan of Wilson,just depends where sad takes us to the end of the season ,he is under a bit of pressure now ,which a couple of wins may just ease it off a bit,hope we can keep continuity though ,even though i was pulling my hair out on saturday

If you're going to post, lets try and keep it real and try look beyond your world. Try and be a little factual and understand the structure of the coaching set up that all must adhere to in our football league set up. It's not a Sunday league pub set and never has been.

As I've said I'm not against Davey and will back who ever Patrick feels best.

 

Barry Taylor is not the one down at Oakwell that has Patrick Crynes ear when it come to advice. That position goes to his old school friend that seems to be running things down their at the moment. If you haven't got a clue who I'm talking about then you really do know **** all about the club. "FACT" not fiction.

Do your home work and see if you can come up with his name.

I had it on very very good authority that he's the one that talked Cryne into giving Davey the Job in the fisrt place. He also brags to close friends that he's the one that's running the club.

 

He's gone up in the world. Last time i saw dave Hancock at Oakwell he was cheif Vending machine filler.

 

You say that as if it's not the norm to promote people above their abilities at Oakwell.

I was under the impression it was more like "snooping" and "backstabbing".

But I suppose advice is more kind.

 

I know he's got many titles but i think he goes by the name of technical director now and has a bigger influence than may people think.

Not true at all

Don Rowing and his team run the club with input from Barry Taylor. Patrick Cryne gets involved in the tactical and strategic decsion making.

As for this "school friend" - sorry to put facts in the way of a good rumour but have you looked at the difference in their ages? They never went to school and never knew each other before Patrick's involvement in Barnsley FC. To suggest Dave Hancock has Patrick's ear and is involved in the running of the football club is not true at all.

Just because the players are together doesn't mean there can't be any unrest.
I wonder who they could be unhappy about???
