Oh FFS..just let it drop...it's like being in a school playground..

"You got that and so i want it"

    Childish and pathetic

Just let it drop. Be honest if the club gave a £5 discount, would you go and buy summat? I very much doubt it

And to keep carping on about the Penistone Reds that pathetic aswell

I am a season ticket holder and can't give 2 flying fecks of the discounted tickets. Id rather see t'well full and 3 points than anything

i for one agree and ask the club to make it £5 for all the remaining games because forest and wolves will make alot of noise but with 3 full sides of the ground making noise we will drown them out. (clap)

As a ST holder, all that matters to me is the three points, I'd pay again for that, rather than get on at the club for trying to pack the ground out and get as much support as possible for the biggest game of the season.

Well Done BFC - I am not going to have to pay anymore than I would if there were me and only the other ST holders in the ground, so I applaud the attempt to get a wider audience interested in the club.

    Just my view!

As a season ticket holder I am more than happy with the value for money I get which is why I choose to buy one. I dont care one bit that the club offer incentives now and then to get the casual fans in and it is now way showing preference to those without season tickets. To say otherwise is just petty and short-sighted.

I signed up at the start of the season to 23 games for £320

I knew what I was getting at the time so anything that happens subsequently is an irrelevance to the decision that I made. I was aware that the club would be likely to make offers to non-season ticket holders during the course of the season when I bought the ticket and it didn't influence my decision then so why should it now ?

If season ticket holders feel agrieved by the reduction they they should factor that into their decision as to the value ofbuying a ticket for 2009/10 as I'm sure that similar discounts will be made for non season ticket holders in that season.

For what it's worth, I think that any incentive that allows for people the opportunity to attend the game should be applauded and I hope they give consideration to a similar reduction for the other remaining home games.

RE: 10% off at the club shop would be nice

Keep it up Supertyke ideas and concerns emanating from this board are often acted upon by the club or used by the ST.

I agree that taking a certain voucher out of your season ticket book enabling you to a 10% discount in the club shop would help the club get rid of some unwanted stock and free up cash for new stock.

    Stop Bairning

If you buy something from a shop and 8 months later its on sale do you go to the shop demanding a voucher for the same amount, No of course not, so why is this any different

Stop moaning and get behind the team, I would rather see the ground full, for me open the gates for free.

Season ticket holders get 7 free matches anyway.

Will you be taking advantage of the reduced price ?

I ask as you have indicated that in the past the price has been prohibitive ?

    Good post

That was one of the reasons I didn't get a season ticket this year. Given that I miss one or two home games a year and that my children can't get any sort of student discount on tickets makes it better to pay match by match (so we sit together). The special offers just tipped the balance to making more financial sense as well. Suppose the worry is that more people will begin to realise this and not bother getting season tickets.
