Aye, and we've all heard what you think of people who abuse their position. You are clearly on a mission to have a dig at the board, go and think up something credible - you're dying a death on this one, Super.
His connections within football worked wonders when we were told Bruma had to change his shirt because it wasn't his official name on his birth certificate while other players up and down the country can have whatever the hell they want on their shirts. His football knowledge and connections within the game helped massively when securing Butchers signature. His fame, knowledge and connections have helped the club grow over the years to such an extent that there isn't a square inch of advertising space left empty at Oakwell, that the stadium is packed week in, week out and that we are on TV almost every week. Sorry but I really don't see what he brings to the table. I see what Don brings, I see what Cryne brings obviously, I saw what Spinks brought, what Mark Stokes brings, what Rib Noodles brought, what John Dennis brought, what Peter Doyle brought, Sean Lewis, Toby Tyke and Katie from the refreshment stands but I haven't got a clue what benefit there is to Barry Taylor and I really think that it holds the club back because there is clearly a lack of ideas at the top. That is nothing against Barry at all who is most likely a lovely man, I'm simply talking about the fact that he doesn't SEEM to do anything at the club.
PC has implemented/is impementing many of Sean Lewis' ideas and plans so yes I see what he brought. Unless of course you think PC is useless with **** ideas.
Is it? I usually can only recognise the chairman, why should I know what the directors look like? Why should I want to know?
Only one on that photo I actually recognise is Flitcroft. I assume the other 2 also signing contracts are part of his coaching team so therefore one of them is Mellon. Then again, I don't recognise half our players when we are on live TV because I never see them close up otherwise, but I recognise them at a distance!
