Because Biden isn't a deranged sociopath, rapist felon. More to the point Biden has done wonders for the American economy after what the orangutan man left him with.

desperately hope you're right, but don't think you will be. Biden's campaign is becoming disastrous, while Trump is emerging as some kind of heroic American patriot. I just don't understand why the Democrats haven't acted and taken Biden out. There's no way he comes across as someone who can serve another term. I dread to think what comes next. I fear it could be Trump on steroids.

Also just to add, the official state opening of this parliamentary period is Wednesday 17th July. Don't worry Farage will be in the commons for anyone worried about Clacton not having a rep there.

Not that it bothers me, I'm more interested in wondering what my own MP is doing and also why when some pro palestinian folk thought that a protest on the Cenotaph, draping flags round it and spray painting the ground around it, the met police just ignored it.

I share your dread and live in hope that the Democrats do as you say and replace Biden. It's a bit sad when the fate of democracies world wide depend on Americans choosing between a convicted felon and self-confessed rapist and a decent man whose only significant downside is that he's old. And it looks like old might be the deciding factor...

As I said in another post, the choice is between a convicted felon and rapist and somebody is just old but not a fascist. I know who I'd be voting for.

Biden has oddly brought his son Hunter to sit in on meetings with his top aides, maybe needs a babysitter now.
Just when you look at the whole thing. How on earth the Amercian public are happy with their choice of candidates as the best two people in the US is quite bizarre.

Yes eventually but only because of complaints they did do summat about it. If you look at some of the vids people have put up, a cop car just other side of the memorial.

Yeah, yeah of course it is. Silly me for saying I am more concerned about how my local MP represents me and how our nations police enforce the law.

The police thing isn't relevant at all to what Farage is doing as an MP though is it? You may as well have said "what I care about is the plot of Shrek 5"

The fact that you're trying to divert criticism from Farage with "wHaT aBoUt ThE cEnOtApH" when it was a few people spray painting a bit of tarmac, and they did in fact get arrested for it is just the cherry on top.

Just because it doesn't fit your agenda it has to be labeled as a word that doesn't even exist in the English dictionary, well done!
Oh and yes, it's 100% true that I don't care what Farage is doing, I am more interested in the work of the MP who I voted for and also how we are policed.
As to the style of your comment "wHaT aBoUt ThE cEnOtApH", I'm afraid a response of that nature shows far more about your level of intelligence than mine.

No, I called it whataboutery because it fits the definition of whataboutery. The one in the dictionary. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/whataboutery

Why? If you need it explaining, my point was that you are playing right into the perception that the type of person who would seek to defend Farage is also likely to get hysterical about topics such as the Cenotaph. Plus on top of that you embarrassingly got the detail of the incident wrong.

But of course you knew that was the point I was making, and rather than engage with it you chose to try and somehow take the high ground and try to claim you're more intelligent than me. Proper playground stuff.

One final word to prove the point. Do you think this isn't proper playground stuff?

    "wHaT aBoUt ThE cEnOtApH"

Yes, it does show your intelligence when you join a discussion like that.
