If Cavare had gone down and rolled about a bit after the bad tackle from behind - then it would have been the Fulham player sent off.

So are you now saying we should cheat now Nudge ...not in my name

Agreed. Everyone else does it, and the better the team, the more adept they seem to be.

It's never going to be stamped out, so let's get on board with it.

It's a sad state of affairs.
But that is how it is.
And we need to be better at it.
    Hecky knows that.
Although Cavare dosent seems to be up to speed.

I honestly cant believe that is your response...

Guess this is one of the reasons society is totally screwed ...when we have people advocating cheating is the way forward

Although the same player genuinely hurt mallan with a much wilder challenge. Mallan did stay down and it wasn’t even a booking.

Society is screwed because a footballer goes down a bit easy to get a foul??

We're not talking about nicking the referees watch off his wrist here, it's about being a bit more "cute" in certain situations.

It was a bad challenge on Cavare but ill discipline and a rush of blood to the head cost us. Hammill could have easily got sent off if he hadn't been taken off, his yellow card tackle was rash to say the least. Fulham were poor first half,we played well but they have better players, Sessegnon would get into most if not all premier league sides

It shouldn't be a part of football though; it's just wrong and players and managers can stop it. Brian Clough wouldn't have accepted it, and neither should the current players and managers.

The more teams cheat the sooner the game becomes unwatchable. It's time the FA did something about it ... the sooner referees become consistent and an automatic red for diving coupled with a set fine for both club and player plus lengthy ban the sooner that gets cut out ...rolling about like a circus act faking injury should also be a straight red ...( we all know you don't bloody move if it's a bad tackle the pain is too much to bare ...yes you punch the ground but you lay still as you can and trust me you curse like he'll). Crowding the referee simple straight yellow and automatic fine for both player and club if it continues no second yellow straight red and lengthy ban.
Referees should be recruited from explayers who in my opinion should be allowed to do their referee badges from an early age just like their coaching badges ....that way the standard should raise at some point couple that with technology and we just then might see consistency and a higher standard amongst the refereeing association.

Don't agree. If "teams like Barnsley" start doing the same as some others I could mention, football would be even more f*****d than it is now.

What I really hate is the level of acceptance in the game now, cheating has become an accepted part of the game. Simulation; buying a foul; taking one for the team; entitled to go down; etcetera ad nauseam. Why dont we just bin the rule book altogether and go back to a chuffin free-for-all

It's not new though. It's been going on for decades. It's over 30 years ago since Maradonas "goal" against us.

Darren Moore took one for the team against Donny, prevented them going two up and we went on and won the game. Can't remember anyone complaining at the time.

Just because we're not known for it, doesn't mean that were squeaky clean and would be going over to the dark side.

Was it Peterborough at home when Hourihane stood on their players toe and his reaction got him sent off.

Had we not won that game we would possibly have not made the playoffs.
