    Undertakers and staff with school-age children will have childcare issues to sort out that could affect arrangements. I guess the mourners would object to kids playing while they are grieving...

    My wife takes an interest in the royals. She's been telling me for ages that Charles was aiming to slim things down. I guess this could be linked to that kind of thinking. Other than the timing - which is appalling - I've no problem with it. Redundancies are sadly a fact of life. It's not as if they've all been sent to the Tower.
