    I haven't been past it for a while....I'll take note next time.....it really gets on my pip changing the old historical names,like Eskdale Road in Ardsley used to be called Mucky Lane until a couple of pretentious t**t new residents got it changed.

    Believe it or not, when I was just a wee nipper (early seventies), or perhaps not long before I was born, my Dad was offered a Headteacher's job in Medicine Hat - apparently he turned it down as they'd not long since bought the eventual family home in tarn, and were settled. How different life could have been though.

    What a great place name!! It's not too far from Heart's Desire or Heart's Content. Come by Chance is about 1/2 hour away. Conception Bay is only 40 Km from there.

    I wonder how people occupied their time back in the day when they were naming these places?
