Fury fight off

Looking at the cut - on his eyelid again - it's going to be at least six months before he'll fight again.

Think there was a six month gap between his Wallin fight and Wilder 2.

A shame, but having followed him from day one, it's never straight forward with Tyson.

I'd like to see Wilder replace him this month. Or Parker. It's not undisputed, but still a decent scrap.

 

Well, well, well. I am surprised. Especially as his dad and brother have both said he's not training well. How long before the WBC strip him of their title, I wonder?

 

When I first saw this I thought fury was dodging the fight for sure, but after seeing a couple photos online the cut does look real bad and he does look in brilliant shape as well. Don’t think he is dodging think it’s just unfortunate one.

 

well, that depends upon how he got the cut!

 

He'll not dodge anybody, especially that Fat Ukrainian.

He's nowt to prove anyway, absolute animal.

 

He will get stripped of the belts soon been inactive too long apart from fighting bums.

 

You seen the sparring video mate looked scrappy stuff didn't it? Makes you wonder if what Johnny Nelson been saying is true and he been poor in sparring.

 

Pal of mine been saying fight won't go ahead for ages. reckons Fury has no intention of ever fighting at that level again but will wring the publicity machine for all it's worth..

He could well be genuine but he accused David Haye of cutting his own eye lid to duck him, he lied saying he was out of the ring with mental health problems when he’d been caught doping, he swerved the Klitschko rematch, went to court to try & avoid the third Wilder fight, then wasted 18 months fighting Chisora for the third time & then N’Gannou & then expects everyone to believe him. This is after already putting back the December date & years of saying he wouldn’t fight Usyk because he’s boring, doesn’t speak English, the heavyweight title should only be contested by people from the west etc.

I’m fed up of him.

I'm always wary when someone is described as getting a "freak" cut.
Sounds well dodgy.

 

Caight a stray elbow i believe. Looks a bad one and his eye area is all swollen. Think its genuine

 

Could be but he's a proven liar and has continually held the division up with his dodging.

 

May 11th didn't take long to get a new date. Let's hope he turns up.
