Re: So why are stage coach barnsley refusing to pay back pay?

Kin'ell l haven't had a payrise for 4 years, l do an 80 mile a day round trip to go to work, Diesel's just gone through the roof, on Saturday l got a £25 parking ticket because l didnt realise Tarn hall car park was a maximum 2hr stay, then to make matters worse my car broke down this morning and to fix it will cost £200-£300. I'm also moving house this Friday and the boiler broke in my current house last week............the bill came to £336, my solicitor fees are nearing 3 grand for this move and to make matters worse l gets a call from the little lass last week, 12 year old stranded in tarn because the bus drivers were on strike asking if l can pick her up on the way home from work, but she would have to wait 2 hours til l got there.

    Fecking stroll on.

Neither Whitey or any other passenger were getting abused I was expressing my disappointment about the numbers that could have used alternative services but didn't IF they were available.

My point is we do start operating before 5 and this week I personally have a couple of duties finishing after midnight and for no enhanced payment I might add.

plenty of jobs at stagecoach which is very suprising seeing as people seem to think its such a cushy well paid job.

Why would people make commuting any more difficult - you know where increased wages will have to be paid from - people using the buses - unless you are going to offer them a better service dont expect people to be jumping for joy at the prospect of paying more for more of the same.

Have you considered going to work for Arriva?

Whitey seems to be pretty sure it was aimed at him too.

I honestly thought Whitey was more savvy than that, if the bus was being driven by a scab why should pickets be jeering at the passengers

I have thought about it in the past my circumstances dictate its not for me. Those circumstances if I made them public on here could have repurcussions for me me personally so please accept my reasons for not disclosing any more.

The vitriol was aimed at all on the bus.
I make that assumption based on direct eye-contact with at least 3 blokes who looked ready to spontaneously combust.
Its a good job Im a little slow and didnt even 'get' what it was about because had I known/remembered, I would have given em some stick back.. but instead I sat there with a facial expression similar to the one I have when holding a rubix cube - bafflement (probably not a word but hey, I like it so get it in the Collins dictionary..)
    .
PS - My birth mother, who I have never had a relationship with and met just a handful of times, worked for Tracky and Stagecoach for over 20 years. Name Michelle. Maybe you know her. A lot of men do as it turns out... :/

Well it seems we are going to have to call a halt because i can repeat and repeat again and again until I'm not blue but purple in the face, nobody was having a go at any passenger.
