If you do not like hemsy or his postings you would simply ignore them
The irony is that the ones who chase him cannot let go

Don't really buy this red army.

Hemsworth is as entitled to an opinion as anybody else. I've said as much to him on here.

The trouble is he often gives the same opinion several times daily, it doesn't matter what the subject of the thread is, eventually he'll have a go at bobby hassell.

Don't mind if he doesn't rate him. Not fussed if he hates him even. But I won't be convinced that the stuff he writes isn't him dangling the fishing rod hoping to stir up a response and catch himself a big fish of an argument.

He's a grown man, he knows what he's writing, I credit him with some intelligence. There's no way anybody would write what he does, on many differing thread subjects, if he wasn't angling for a barney.

So I don't think he's bullied. He's had people stick up for him like this before - mad mark comes to mind - but in the end he seems to grow indefensible in some of his posts. People may go over the top in response perhaps but I'd argue that's the response he was after anyway.

The shame is that if he cut out the bile that infuriates, he'd be a prolific contributor, who also regularly attends games, and as such his opinion would hold quite a bit of weight.

For example the one he started about the Aussie cricketers himself and about 5 or 6 comments in he turned it into Hassell is a lovely person.That type of thing you mean?

My previous post contains my thoughts on the matter, I won't write it all again. That'd be hypocritical.

 

HTs assessment of yesterday's performance. So encased in his hatred of Bobby Hassell that after a perfectly assured performance, not brilliant but certainly good, including scoring the winning goal, he can only see one mistimed tackle in the performance.

Quite bizarre given the fact he analyses the performance of every other player and can give quite informed opinions too.

Like I say, the guy is potentially very insightful, I enjoy reading his thoughts on the lads coming through the academy in particular.

But I feel that the cobblers like that above show why folk on here get annoyed with him, and also show that he is not bullied.

 

The guy is a wind up and i for one am sick of the personal abuse he gets.
Why the hell does it matter if he hasn't got a job? For all we know he probably has a job, or is activley seeking one, but either its got nothing to do with Barnsley football club.
Fair enough he might be out of order with what he said regarding Hassell, but*that's for site admins to deal with.
What annoys me most is the stick he gets regarding his grammar, anyone with a bit of common sense can see he probably didn't get an A in English, but iv seen worse grammar on this site from other members and they don't get half the stick HT does.
Personally I enjoy reading some of his insightful posts, mainly regarding the academy players.
At the end of the day he is a fellow Barnsley fan and I bet a pound to a penny that he cheered Bobbys goal as much as anyone at Oakwell yesterday.

 

I'm with offspring on this, HT obviously had a bad experience once with Hassell which might have made him angry hence the dislike and why he cant even say his name and can not say positive things about him, I've accepted that, obviously some people havent.

HT is the most opinionated poster on here - and he deserves a majority of the stick he gets on here when it doesnt turn personal. There are too many to name, but his vindictive approach to: Gazza, The Spanish National Team, German Football, Bobby, Matt Le Tiss etc..... for which he bases his 'opinion' on nothing other than lies and the obvious poor english.

Ive been contributing to this (4000+ posts) and previous versions of the board for 15 years, but the very presence of HT hijacking a reasonable thread time after time has driven me away. This board would be a far better place without him for sure - it certainly was before he joined.

 

To be honest I rarely look to see who is posting..........I just reply to the post.......and not the person.

However, bullying has been mentioned on this thread............and my conclusion about bullying on here is this

A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF POSTERS ON HERE ARE ..............BULLIES

Someone starts the ball rolling and if others join in then a snowball effect starts
Consequently you end up with a shed load of people shouting at one person...........which is very similar to play ground tactics

Example off the field..........Hemsworth
Example on the field..........Wiseman

Its abart time some on here started to use the few brain cells that they have got to form their own opinion

People seem to want to have ago. It's been a bad week for me, really? Barnsley win twice.

Anyone who knows me will know i don't start shouting about Steele or Hassell or any player really. I'm quite a positive person at the football.

My comments about hassell were that it was the only thing that didn't get commented on. 20/30 posts might have been about hassells goal or defending.
People seem to want to make out that i'm having ago all the time, im quite simply not.

My Grammar, boring. I normally post quickly on here unless i'm doing a report when i'll use Word.

 

This is true, sometimes it is Steele or Gazza or cheese or eggs or moyo or German football or a multitude of other things that you seem to assume you are the only one that is entitled to an opinion.
