    Pretty much sums up my thoughts too. I'm not a big fan of the odd parts with magic, etc. If you can stick through the first season it'll be worth it, although this last season has been pretty average.

    I watched about half an hour of it and I was losing the will to live so I chalked **** on it and turned it off. Load o *****.

    I agree with you about the last season, was average till 9th episode which IMO was best this season

    I haven't read the books.

    I started watching this program half way through - because others in the house were so enthralled.

    So I don't understand the full story line and I haven't a clue who all the characters are.

    However - this doesn't stop me realising that Game of Thrones is simply the best drama that has ever been seen on television.

    Each hour long program is as lavish as a feature film.

    The sets, costumes, locations, dialogue, characters and visual effects are just incredible.

    Game of Thrones will be seen by television critics as a benchmark for all future television series.
