I fell out with the Expanse when I got halfway through season 2 and it vanished from Netflix. Need to get around to watching the rest of it...

As for GoT, I've watched and read and I keep getting confused between the events in the two (there are differences, some significant).

Trust you to start watching Game of Thrones half way through and not bother to go back to the beginning.

I understand the series were written with George Martin consulting on the scripts for the books not yet written.

I’m a long way behind having only read (well actually listened to on Audible) the first 3 books and am half way though the TV series season 3. The books are excellent if a bit wordy the TV is very good at least so far. But it’s not something I can binge watch it’s tricky with the final series being broadcast to avoid spoilers though.

Martin wrote a fair few episodes early on in the show, but since GOT overtook the books he hasn't had as much input. I believe he's given them the details and outline of the conclusion, but the producers have had more license to deviate from the books in recent episodes.

Like going North of the Wall in the last season - that's the producers rather than Martin. I can't blame them though, it's been 8 years since Martin released the last one - and he gave reassurances that when the show began he would have finished the whole series by the time the show caught up.

Did they really believe he would write the final 2 books in the space of 8 series given the time it’s taken to write the previous ones

He’s written lots of other spin offs instead which is very annoying, wish he would just concentrate on the books millions of people are waiting for

What an amazing episode! I won't spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet but that was brilliant.

If anyone hasn’t watched it yet, make sure you turn the brightness up on your phone/computer/TV because it’s very dark all episode and you’ll miss stuff

I'm obviously in a minority here, but I didn't like it at all! Far too many nonsensical plot holes. I'd say more but I'm concerned about spoilers.

Opinions, eh. I suspect it was just an episode that was really heavy on the stuff that I don't like, and very light on the stuff that I do.

Yeah, it was all very dark, and for me the sound was appalling too. Couldn't make out a word.
Unbelievable episode though as others have said. Brilliant

@Young Nudger I have binge watched from start, and watched the YouTube explanation videos and I still don't quite get who's who!

Very dull for me so far this series (just like last night, couldn't see a thing).
Disappointing conclusion to something that i wouldn't ordinarily have watched (enforced by the other half) but have generally enjoyed.

I watched it once think it was the first series. A young lad was thrown from a tower after he'd watched someone having a bit of naughty nookie.
