    I got a slap after that match.

    Just cos I said we would be lucky to get 2000 next match, a fella twatted me and called me a lovely person. I was 14 at the time, next season as I was walking up Oakwell Lane I saw him, asked if he recognized me, when he said No I told him who I was , then hit him as hard as I could, then run like ****. Only time I have ever hit a fellow Reds fan, mind you there are a couple on here that I might do (only joking).

    I got hit on the back of the head by one of those cushions that they provided for those sat in the Main Stand. Methinks it was intended for someone else (lookout) . I reckon we'd have been with a good chance of promotion that season had we not sold Gorry and Otulakowski early on.

    With those 2 we would have gone up no problem that year

    but we had to sell them to pay the wages of everyone else.
    Great player Anton, went to see him play for West Ham at Leeds, me and a few mates were stood shouting "Anton, Anton", while they were warming up.he came over to us and thanked us for making him feel at home. Should have had a better career really.

    I remember it well, we could have won 7-0 that day, they had not had a sniff.

    But yeah that 2-1 defeat when Brunt scored was galling, we'd played so well.

    And the Liverpool game relegated us.
