    Ken what yir sayin mate but 85m is one hell of a lot of money for any player. I just dinna think even Spurs can afford tae turn that doon.

    Thing is he's the difference between them being a top 4 side and a mid table side.
    If they kept hold of him and made some decent signings in key positions I would seriously see them as title contenders.

    Agreed. Last year at times Spurs were a one man team. I still believe they will sell. Doubt the fans will be too happy about it though. But when did fans ever come first?

    Can't disagree fantastic player can score a goal out of nothing but judging by what they pay for an average player he probably worth it!
