Shez did punch Ince,he said a few days later "if I'd have known I was going to get sent off I would have hit him harder".Back to Willard didn't he referee our game at S6 when Di Canio should have been sent off?

Wouldn't say they were over the top, they had passion. Passion that the game misses badly today.

I think my 55-year old Mum was one of the ones you describe. She was so disgusted that she even sent a letter to the FA after that game - bless her. I've got the reply somewhere, words to the effect that they would pass on her comments to the refereeing authority. Didn't Willard retire soon after that?

Surprised that no-one has mentioned MOTD that night - the ref-hater who shouted down the microphone, "it's a conspiracy". I think he reflected the feelings of the entire Barnsley crowd with his anger and comments that day. I was still angry when I woke up the next morning. Gary f*cking Willard indeed.

He did. Shez 'waited for ince' in the tunnel after the game and they had afters. Hilarious.

Think he did yes. In some ways one of the best games I've ever been too. Magical atmosphere.

A friend worked for his insurance company and randomly hassled him for ages after not that I approve but at the same time quite funny.

It was a season of total injustice and we were subjected to a series of dreadful refereeing decisions. Will never forget the away game at Coventry; the week before on MOTD Strachan had a 5 minute rant about the refs giving them nothing... Next up Barnsley at home and Dion Dublin does the biggest swan dive in the box in the 89th minute. The ref clearly doesn't want another blast off the ginger tw*t and promptly points to the spot. That plus the Mike Riley decision at Old Trafford, Di Canio at Hillsbro and the Liverpool game...nearly turned me into an axe murderer.
