Very true Ian, there was no need to use the pixelated picture at all. We know he's ill and that without help he hasn't got long left so there is no need for the press to show him at rock bottom. I can understand why they did it but regardless of motive some of the pictures were distasteful and unnecessary.
He's an iconic footballer who many hold in very high esteem for what he did on the pitch (not necessarily off the pitch) and to see him in such decline is terrible. His status as a footballer is going to get him attention, sympathy and headlines.
Doesn't him getting out a vehicle and him showing the world his private parts come under indecent exposure. But England and soon to be Manchester United leading Goalscorer might have once slept with another women that wasn't his Wife. ATTACK
Lets rewind a bit here. Who was actually with him that allowed him to go out with only a coat on? Surely he wasn't on his own as he got out of a car. Wonder where 5 bellies, Danny Baker and Ally McCoist are now? Some pals they are.
I think he was in a taxi and you're right about the hangers-on being a bunch of parasites who've done nothing to help him. Great mates during the good times.
It was hardly a man in a raincoat type incident Phil, it wasn't intentional. And for the record if Rooney was in the same state as Gazza, I and most others would show the same sympathy towards him. Does him not playing in your era really put him beyond any sympathy or empathy.
Age doesn't matter what does, this or well its Paul and we can't say anything bad about our lovely little Alcoholic, Child abandoning, wife beating, great chance waster Gazza can we. How dare the Sun a private company post a picture of a man exposing himself to the world. Only so many times someone can do something that bad. This isn't normal. Do the people or Barnsley or Wakefield or whatever your local town get these chances Mario? This guys taking the piss. Nile Ranger's 25 now and done some not so nice things but people on here can't wait to slag him off. Didn't have the best childhood either, looks of things a little worse than ''gazza' Shea, he might have got upset and said some not so nice words and he's still get people commenting about him now. Not doing so bad now been on advertisement boards in USA.
You're talking absolute crap Phil and your argument is all over the place. You really don't ever learn where to draw a line and keep your point reasonable. At the very least you should try to articulate your argument in a way that doesn't make you sound immature and very naive.
Where's Shearer in all this? Hopes and prays every day that the worst hasn't happened * * Or at least he does when tearfully plugging a Euro 96 'hey I was golden boot dontcha know' documentary. The tw@. He'll be first on TV when the worst happens, but probably got extra guards on his mansion tonight just in case Gazza comes a - knocking. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
He didn't choose to be ill. It's an illness he probably will never beat. I don't like Russell Brand but how he's overcome alcohol and class A drugs to be clean for best part of a decade from both is bloody good going. Everyone is different. It's a shame a legend of the sport we all love is in the way he is, despite his past antics.
To be fair, I think the idea was for him to cut himself off from the booze culture that he used to be amongst, fresh start and all that. Unfortunately its not workied, pity he can't find someone trustworthy enough to keep the t1ts away who think its funny to encourage him to get back on the drink.
