I've not read the book, but did enjoy the film. I thought Hackman and the dodgy fixer with the moustache were the standouts though.
That was my first thought too. Obviously I don't want to speculate. Nonetheless, RIP to all concerned. Edit: I've just read that 2 of his other dogs survived and the police aren't considering foul play. Carbon monoxide seems the most obvious explanation.
Sounds like the police now have grounds for a sufficient investigation, both unfortunately passed away a while ago, circa 2 weeks, Gene found near kitchen, wife in bathroom, dog in a closet cupboard near bathroom 2 other dogs still alive, front door wide open, pills found scattered in bathroom all very odd indeed, no signs of gas leaks, fire service don't think it's carbon monoxide either. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cewkkkvkzn9o
Just remembered his cameo in Young Frankenstein as the blind man. A rare comedy role and, unsurprisingly, he nailed that too.
Great actor! , superb in everything he did even if the film itself was a bit iffy!. I've not seen mentioned 'i never sang for my father' , great film and he's tip top in it .........sithi.
He was very good in Crimson Tide as well as an aggressive, bull-headed submarine captain in a cold war thriller. Would recommend the film. Its on Disney at least and numerous dodgy sticks.
Behind enemy lines with wilson. Set in balkans conflict. Proper gd film, mississippi burning is a great film and enjoyed enemy of the state. Who could forget lex luther. The woman who was helping Lex had an amazing set of boobies. Her name is valerie perrine
So apparently his wife died one day after catching something from rats in the home and he died a week later of something completely unrelated. The dog died of unknown causes on an unknown day. And there was a gas leak in the property it it was unrelated. Blimey
This is awful. I was hoping it was going to stay as 'nothing suspicious', which is what we all thought at first.
