    I'm getting one

Had one since the 1969/70 season and will be getting one for 2013/14.
I'm obviously soft in the head!

Yes - what else am I going to do on a Saturday afternoon

proper fan alert - I used to go every home game when we were in the 4th division in the 70's so 3rd division football wont stop me going - will be disappointed though

+ having a ST will guarantee me a seat against the massive blunts next season

But enough of all this - we arent down yet still all to play for

No, because since getting my old seat back I have met old friends again and would now miss not seeing them. There were times this season that I doubted I would get a season ticket, but not now, whichever division we are in (also its a good escape from the house and Mrs Wakeyred!!!)

My support for BFC is not negotiable, and has been for nigh on 48 years, so of course I will be getting a season ticket. However, a word of warning. If we stay up, there will have to be a large turnover of players, because the option of out working the opposition is not on for a full season, and we need more quality. If we go down, there will have to be a large turnover of players, because on league two budgets, we simply cannot afford the wages of many of the older, well established players. Many big names will be on both lists, so be prepared to lose some of your favourites.

I watched us in the days when the opposition was Southport,Barrow,Halifax and Newport County,so dropping a division..although hard to take ...will be slightly softened by the fact we'll still be able to play the likes of the Blunts,Preston and Coventry

I AM NOT GETTING A SEASON TICKET NEXT SEASON

Only because I work most Saturday's now so there's no point. I'm not disillusioned, and Dave Flitcroft hasn't offended me.

    No idea, mate

I was only a kid and my late Father bought it for me, and continued to do so for years, as a birthday present. We sat in the Ponty End wing of the old stand. When he died a few years ago, we had to go through a lot of old documents he'd left. One of these was my junior season ticket for the 1974/75 Fourth Division. It was priced at £5, if I remember rightly.

Please don't use 'Smell the Coffee'..it's the most ridiculous American expression I've heard since 24/7 crept into usage.
If I ever heard it at Oakwell...apart from near the catering facilities..I'd pack in football.
Next thing we'll be referring to the club as a franchise.

Like sad brewer and biglil, over the last 56 years I've seen the very worst and the very best of times, I will support the reds till my dying breath, whatever league we are in, even non league if it comes to that. Happy clapper ? No!!! I've said before, I know and understand who and what I'm supporting, we have no devine right to be in this league, just as the owls, blunts and weeds have no right to be in the prem / europe. At some time in the future we will drop into the lower divisions and we will climb back, as long as there is a club to follow I will be there. A silly, sad old barsteward ? Most definitely.
