From a certain London paper. http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/...lder rejected§ionIs=sport&searchyear=2016 Both us & Charlton tabled £300k bids which have been rejected.
If he's got the potential most people who've seen him credit him with and with hecky and co's track record of developing talent I'd say sign him up but no sell on clauses at that price imo. Needs at least a four year deal to recoup that amount ,having seen him live on two occasions and reading reviews and you tube videos its not as risky as some making out IMO.
I wouldn't either but some reckon he would be worth the risk. Personally think we could use that money better elsewhere.
This is life in the Championship I'm afraid. Once the 'parachute clubs' start sniffing, the price rises. We can't afford £800k simple as that, no matter how good he is or how much potential he's got.
If we've £300k plus signing on fee available for Moncur there's no way on this planet we should be losing Adam.
No parachute clubs are going to come sniffing. A few clubs have been mentioned like Ipswich Town (no surprise there) but Charlton are the only team i've read to have a bid turned down apart from us and they are in the league below so shouldn't be competition.
