As did I, but given their lad Hylton was definitely fouled in the build-up to our third goal, then these things even out.
He's an excellent defender. This defence of ours, which is on an impressive run of keeping clean sheets, contains two lads who have played most of their careers in non league football. They've both been outstanding for us and shows there's talent at that level if you're prepared to scout for it.
Both him and Roberts can get better, they have only played a few games between them this season, plenty of potential and both good lads who seem willing to learn. Fantastic to see them step up into League 1 and not look out of place at all. Respect to who ever scouted them.
He was outmuscled for their first goal. And played somewhat nervously for a fair while. He would have been the new Keith Brown if we'd lost. But we didn't.
I don't recall him having a single poor game in the 16 or so months he's been at the club. Admittedly I didn't go to Chesterfield when he was by all accounts dreadful, but it appeared he was written off after this game, rather prematurely. Great player. Reckon he's just edging Marley as my current favourite player. Love an underdog me. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
