I think the Georgians are on that Maria Sharapova drug.

And Georgia are a more passionate opponent than England.

I love watching Georgia. As soon as they break up play they're off like greyhounds after a rabbit.

Spain in front. How come they aren't dropping back to defend their lead?

They are crazily predictable.....as soon as they get the ball, they only know one direction and they're off chasing manically towards goal. It'll never work.

I didn't realise they had qualified via the Nations League route.
I don't agree with that, but they have impressed me with their attitude.

Well it's 3-1 now and they've had 27 shots so far, 9 on target, with 77% possession. I'd say they were steamrolling at present.

Georgia are the lowest ranked side at 74. We just played a team much higher in 45th.

Very few teams have won by 3 goals. When you made your post Spain had 18 off target. Imagine the uproar on here if we had missed the target one and a half dozen times against a side so lowly ranked.

Yeah I'm going to stop replying to you about this haha, it's quite clear you are on the wind up. We literally did not have a shot on target until the 95th minute against Slovakia (who had a 37 year old right back playing against us).

It's now finished Spain 4 - 1 Georgia, with Spain having 34 shots & 74% possession with an Xg of over 3. Georgia had 4 shots with 0 on target.

Spain have looked the best team in the competition for me, by some distance. Can't see anyone beating em.

I hope not (unless it's us obviously...) because I had them pre-tournament!

I’ve fancied Spain since their first game but they’re going to have to get through at least two near 50-50’s to get to the final with Germany & then one of (in all likelihood) France or Portugal. It only takes one slip up against opposition that good & it can be game over.

I think it's definitely the strongest Spain have been since 2012, but it's also probably the strongest Portugal have been for a long time (the overall squad), Germany have been poor in recent years but have some exceptional young talent now who have massively improved them, even though I still think their defence can get got at. Add France & England's squads into that, it should be a great tournament (despite both of our performances). Not to mention some surprise packages like Austria

It’s a real tough one to predict. Whoever comes out of the top half of the draw will have gone through hell to get there. Injuries & suspensions will play a factor too. I imagine if you take Rodri or either of the wingers out of that side then there’s a big drop off where as we’ve got no one playing well so should be able to cope with losing anyone!

Shame. Expected, but I do like the look of Giorgi Mamardashvili. Will follow his progress
