    If you read the papers or watch the television, you will see that the jury returned a verdict of "not guilty".

    It about one of the only things left in this country that the rest of the world are envious of and that's the British system of justice.

    So don't knock it!

    a bit like inciting a riot, quite a serious offence more than likely a sentence is carried with it too. If that was me in that pub and not Gerrard it would have been over in 1 hour and l would be picking the soap up in HMP Donny.

    Didn't some of his mates plead guilty to affray? Ironic that Gerrard gets off with it when he seems to have thrown most of the punches. Maybe the CPS went for the wrong charge.

    I thought that. Doesn't affray have to apply to more than one person? The others were guilty of affray outside the nightclub, so shouldn't Gerrard have been up on a different charge for what happened in the club ABH/GBH?
