Two wingers is fine for me but our problem is that they arent consistently good enough and for some reason we have two on the pitch but only use one per half. Ive lost track of the amount of games in the last couple of years where we play completely down the right in the first half and then completely down the left in the second. The other problem is that our wingers are so weak that one of our strikers has to effectively play as a winger to compensate leaving just one in the middle on his own. Against MK Dons it was Hemmings who was camped out on the left wing and in others it has been Cole. Then we have poor old Lita who is a poacher but not the most mobile who is stuck up front completely isolated with just the occasional long high ball 3 foot over his head. I dont think we need another striker, we have plenty. I dont think we need another defender, we have loads. Central midfielders? Coming out of our ears. Wingers? Erm well we have an unfit and uninterested Jennings and an unfit Treacy. Both of whom have played centrally this season as well and We always seem to pretend various other players are wingers and stick them on a wing whether that be one of our strikers, a new lad or one of the many academy players who for reasons unknown we have insisted on trying to make a winger out of when everyone with a pair of eyes can see theyre not wingers. Get in 2 solid wingers on loan and we will be fine. If we cant pick two decent central midfielders from Berry, Hourianne, Bailey, Digby Abbott or even Cranie then something has gone drastically wrong.
" Damn we were **** today. We have really good fans who have stood by the club through alot of poor seasons battling relegation battles and if we keep playing like this we will be giving them another"
