    Additional training, maybe employing some of the recognised retired refs to do some coaching/critiqueing. Increase the pool of referees, perhaps. Anything to drive standards up. I'll admit it's not my area of expertise, so maybe these things are already being done?

    I've never been an advocate of VAR, it feels like a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Bad decisions, controversy, these things been part of the game for as long as its existed. I'd rather suffer them and have an occasional moan than have the life sucked out of the game.

    Was called a neanderthal the other day by some armchair fans for not accepting change in football.Just was wondering how this board would vote if it came to keeping VAR or scrapping it.

    Our board would sell it at the first opportunity!!
    Then replace it with a young inexperienced VAR machine, that wasnt fit for the standard.
