My logic is that why get carried away so much by so called benefit fraud but not Tax evasion/fiddling which costs the Treasury a hell of a lot more than benefit fraud. what's nonsense about that?

If you are forced out of work through redundancy then

opportunities should be available to get a similar job to maintain the same standard of living. Shouldn't be expected to get a job that pays as little as the poles and east Europeans are prepared to work for. Otherwise standard of living across Europe and then the world will balance out to one that is higher than the Chinese and Indians currently have but much less than we are used to.

 

Murder is not connected.. tax evasion is..

In that the Treasury are trying to save money by stopping an amount of money going out. Why can't the same resources/ measures that are to be put in place to stop benefit fraud, also be put in place to confront Tax evasion. Income and expenditure go hand-in hand.
