I remember pc Sharon beshninkys killer (sorry if spelt wrong) he was on the run in Pakistan for nearly 20 years. Eventually brought back and sentenced then died in jail at 76 served less than a year.

There's plenty of other less high profile cases where people have been returned. But yeah, relatively easy to hide in Pakistan, it's a big place.

One good thing to come out of all this. Grooming 541t. (Although many yrs too late. only 16 months old) A task force was created to look into these issues. 550 arrests. 4000 reported cases.
