That's a tough question because even some of the worst performances by a Reds team would have had some decent players in it but I'll go for the team that laid down and died against Norwich at Oakwell to confirm relegation in 2002.

    Andy Marriott
    David Mulligan
    Mike Flynn
    Chris Morgan
    Richard Naylor
    Paul Gibbs
    Dean Gorre
    Gary Jones
    Chris Lumsdon
    Kevin Betsy
    Bruce Dyer

Only two players in that lot worthy of a mention, Bruce Dyer and for all the wrong reasons Chris Morgan.

To be honest when I looked up this team, some of the names were unknown to me, I don't remember; Marriott, Flynn, Naylor or Gibbs, and I have only vague memories of Mulligan and Jones.

The three subs were decent, Mike Sheron, Alex Neil and Chris Barker.

Some cracking candidates amongst that team.

Paul Gibbs was very poor apart from one game away at Walsall, which we lost, but he played very well.

Gary Jones was going to be the new Redders. Ran around a lot looking menacing.

Flynn so slow he looked like he was running backwards.

Naylor was great for Ipswich. Excelled in defence or up front. Went through the motions whilst on loan at Oakwell.

Lumsdon was great on loan, and for a bit after we signed him then went off the rails.

Sheron heart the size of a pea.
