It’s brilliant, you can pause & rewind, choose your stage & act. No queues for beer or bogs & most importantly.. no w@nkers in stoopid hats..
Yeah I get why people see the appeal. Just isn't for me. I like to be there and see the whites of their eyes
Most there. as at most open air venues watch the screens. As the artists are too far away even to recognise. Atmosphere is what does it for me live. Went to watch the commitments musical the other day. admitted in the theatre, but you'll get what I mean. Place was buzzing.
Youngest Lad. let us know a few hrs ago he's got gold tickets for Pink this evening in Hyde park. One of the best artistes on the planet for me. Lucky sod. but wont tell us how much he's paid lol. He knows I'd cough a little.
I don't get that either though, tbh. Anything I want to see at a festival, I'm right at the front. The festivals I go to, you can wander down to the front, 10 minutes before a set starts.
I like to watch a couple of unknown (to me) bands. For all you rockers out there last year it was Yung blud (Donny) Check these out, (searched em online) won Eurovision 21. But dont let that put you off if not watched em. 1hr set. But for a quick glimpse they are on the must watch track list. To give you an idea. Edit Skip that go straight to the full set. Brilliant. MÀNESKIN . Italian rockers.
It was the Heathen Chemistry tour and Liam had a bit of a lisp ('I'm feelin Ssssssupersssonic...'). He said he'd come across Russian mafia in Germany, but apparently he just rubbed some random Germans up the wrong way. I know Liam changed his lifestyle to give longevity to his voice, but at the tail-end of Oasis he sounded shocking, and I didn't like the last couple of albums. Add to that the breakdown between him and Noel it could be a recipe for disaster. I don't see a need for them to come back, it doesn’t excite me, though you make a good point about reuniting for the kids who never got a chance to see them first time round. That rarely produces anything beyond a legacy tour though, like with Roses and The Verve, where they soon disband again shortly after. I recognise the interest in the reforming is off the scale though and would be a huge commercial success.
Stood on the hill. She’s giving it her all. Great band. She does sound like some old pissed bird on karaoke
She sounds great. I challenge anyone to do what Debbie’s done for 60 years, then come back & prove me wrong..
Jeezus, so many people are so used to contemporary processed vocals. They wouldn’t know a real singer if it bit them in the knackers and/or fanny.. Debbie sounds great, Axl sounded great. If anyone can do better for decades on end, fcking go ahead..
