Good to meet you today, Ian. The performance was so bad you ended up being the highlight of the day!

All the best, fingers crossed for your Dad. From a football angle, today's performance summed up our season in 90 minutes. Relegation is rubbish, but I'm with you given recent events in my own family, it doesn't matter that much. Roll,on August...

I'm reading my Dad's Eulogy for his funeral this coming week, would have been great to have been able to put a positive end to it after today. But, he got me watching the Reds, there's a sad irony I suppose in that relegation today puts Barnsley back where they were when he first took me to Oakwell in 80/81. Some of my most wonderful reds memories and father memories were made at third division level. So a bit of time to lick the wounds and get ready for next year to make some more with a bit of luck.

This time it rarely registered any kind of emotion. It just all felt terribly predictable. Not so much at the start of the season - I felt some optimism that we could create a decent squad of honest players who performed above the levels we could realistically have expected. Some have done that and others have probably performed at a level which was to be expected given the levels jumped, and the overall teams form.

I am dissapointed a bit, but as always optimistic to see what happens. By the first pre season game I’ll just be wanting us to win games.

For those wanting us to spend millions on players the below sets out the FFP regulations. One interesting thing is players signed the September before relegation on 3 year deals are excluded from the wage consideration of FFP. So that would be most of the summer signings I assume? Lindsey, Pinnock, Fryers, Mallan, Isgrove, Thiam, McGeehan were all signed on 3 year contracts I think.

Trim the squad a bit - Mowatt, Knasmullner, Bradshaw (if he wants outt), Cavare can all go for me. Along with Yiadom and all the loans. Add a new keeper, Right Back to challenge McCarthy, Centre Mid, Couple of wingers and a new striker. If we can pinch a couple of quality premiership youngsters on loan as well I imagine any decent manager would have our squad at the top end of the season.

Looking forward to seeing us win some matches next year.

Gutted , points dropped all along the season cost us in the end , but today was a dreadful performance from most of the team . Hoping we bounce back next season now
