What about the volley in the 3-2 win at home to watford in the 2007-2008 ? Wasn't as good as plymouth's volley but a decent goal.

He'll get some games under his belt now. Hopefully he'll get back to his best.

One of my favourites over the last few years

100%r and often the mostly likely player to do that bit extra that would get us a goal. Hope he does well when he moves somewhere proper (not Franchise FC). Also hope we actually do not need him anymore.

    Gutted he has gone

Why does Robins say that he needs games and that will benefit us? - he's allowing him to play in the FA Cup!
Gutted that he's gone and probably not returning. He gave me some lovely memories. He loved the club and always gave his all.

    Agreed

For me he was (and is) a very good player for us. But if we don't need players of his ability, it means only one thing as you suggest.

Aye! Gonna be sadly missed! Great player, Modern day Tarn legend and a bloody good bloke to boot.

Although it's officially a months "Emergency Loan" it'll probably be made permanant in Jan if they are allowing him to play in the FA Cup.

    Shame. :(

Good Luck Disco & Thanks for the memories!

That's exactly what I use it for.

If I was Disco i'd have been begging to leave

Yes, I agree that he may not start games, at least not regularly, but he has been consistently overlooked even from the bench, in favour, mostly, of JCR.

Given that it doesn't seem likely he'll ever be given a fair crack.

I think MR is missing a trick to be honest - Disco and Hammill on either wing, Gray up top with A.N.Other, probably Hume, surely would be productive.

I know he only likes playing one out and out winger - but Disco is the only one we have who consistently looks to get a cross in, often early.

Oh well, MR obviously differs, and lets face it he's doing well so we'll have to leave him to it.

Agree Troff, Disco hasn't been given a chance at all. I'd fancy him to claim his place given a start, especially with JCR the way he is at the moment

All the best, Martin. My 'Disco' memory comes from...

the final game of the 2005/06 league campain. Walsall 1-2 Barnsley. 3/4000 Barnsley fans jumping up and down singing 'Lets all have a DISCO' as he tore their rightback to pieces for the final 10 minutes of the game to get us into the play-offs. Or thats how i remember it anyway! :)

I've probably been his biggest critic over the last couple of years but there is no doubts he's been a great servent for the club both on and off the field.

    Good luck, Martin!
