Just beggars believe that we let them have three points at Oakwell. I just don't understand it because this must be the worst Wednesday side in their history. Compare their effort today to ours last season at the death. We played like we wanted to stay up. They played like they didn't much care. Baffling
Watched the second half, truly awful stuff. Forest were careless and already on the beach while Wendy simply aren’t good enough.
If we needed a striker and Grabban was the only one available, we'd be better off signing my mother-in-law.
They don't deserve to stay up, they are awful. Hope to God that Rotherham pull something out and relegate both Wednesday and Derby. Problem is, Rotherham can't do it either. In all honesty, none of them deserve to stay up. Bottom 3 all struggling like chuff to even make 40 points.
It's the worst kind of relegation. Every match they play hammers another nail in the coffin lid, while perversely offering them just a glimmer of hope. The staggered kick-off times today is a stroke of genius on the EFLs part, and means that the agonies are maximised. Obviously I'm joking. I'm not that cruel, honest.
Rotherham win Luton in midweek and that just about relegates the swines, Rotherham have a plus 5 goal difference, I can't see that being overturned, come on the millers
It feels a bit petty to say this, but it's true so I'll say it anyway. What I would *love* in a Kevin Keegan style way, is for Wednesday to stay up by beating Derby on the final day ... then for another "accounting irregularity" to arise at Wednesday seeing them start next season on -12. Groundhog day for them next year and WRDCFC to Lge 1. Best of both worlds.
only if SW go down as well this season. They still need punishing for their financial irregularities from 2 seasons ago (I think - I'm losing track now)
Can see Wednesday going into administration when they go down. They dont own their ground anymore and have signed up to a lease for the next 30yrs paying 3 million plus a year to play in that rust bucket. Not paying wages on time on a regular basis. It's not looking rosie
I hope they go down. Can only imagine the carnage that would follow. Limited away fans next season. Lower home fans. Matchday revenue and other income vastly reduced. 13 (I think) first teamerrs out of contract. Possible transfer imbargo. Possible points reduction. Players not been paid. Massive rent to pay to play at home. Massive division between the owner and the fans. Big reduction in TV money. The list goes on.
